In Phuket, aThailand, the Tourist Police have made a significant arrest, apprehending two Nigerian men on suspicion of trafficking cocaine. According to a statement issued by the police over the weekend, the individuals in question, Harrison Chinonso Onyema, aged 40, and Ogadinma Promise Onyema, aged 41, were taken into custody at a parking area of a hotel located on Kata Road in Karon on Thhursday, April 11, 2024. Subsequently, they were transported to the Karon Police Station to face charges related to the sale of illegal Category 2 drugs, namely cocaine.
Additionally, Mr Harrison is confronting an additional charge of unlawful entering and residing in the Kingdom of Thailand. As of now, there has been no release of any statements or pleas made by the two suspects regarding the charges brought against them.
