President Bola Tinubu has dismissed Mamman Ahmadu from his position as Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
This announcement was made in a statement released on Saturday by Presidential Spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.
The statement partly read, “This is part of a larger reorganization effort in the public procurement system to reposition the agency for greater efficiency and transparency.”
“The Director-General is to hand over to the mist senior officer in the Bureau, pending the appointment of a new Director-General.”
The President expressed his gratitude to Ahmadu for his dedicated service and contribution during his tenure at the BPP. President Tinubu extended his best wishes to Ahmadu, hoping for his success in the future endeavors.
