Personnel from the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) within the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Department in Kano State detained Muhammad Munzali, a 35-year-old individual from Kaura Gidan Damo, Shanono Local Government Area. The incident occurred as he attempted to gain unauthorized access to a female hostel. SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the command’s Public Relations Officer, disclosed this information in a statement issued on Friday, March 15, 2024. Abdullahi elaborated that the apprehension took place around 10pm on Wednesday, March 13, when alert corps officers intercepted Munzali sneaking into female hostel at Skyline University Nigeria, located on Sardauna Crescent, Nasarawa BRA, Kano.
“The suspect was disguised and dressed in women’s garb and was found with local charms around his body. The State Commandant, NSCDC Kano Command, Mohammed Falala, had recently, in a strategic meeting with management, charged officers and men of the command to be extra vigilant,” he stated.
