A Kastina politician known as Alhaji Lado was fatally attacked by bandits in Mairuwa village, Faskari local government area of the state on Saturday night, March 25. According to eyewitnesses, another individual was also killed during the assault. Lado is believed to have been the primary target of the attackers. Reports indicate farmer was murdered after resisting the orders of his assailants.
According to a confirmed source;
“They opened fire on him when they attempted to kidnap him but he refused to follow.”
A survivor of the mosque attack recounted that the assailants abducted Alhaji Lado’s wife and two daughters. Additionally, another victim of the assault was identified as Sani, a health worker.
