An unknown number of individuals are presently trapped under debris following the collapse of a building in the Kuntau area of Gwale Local Government Area, Kano State.
Reports indicate that approximately eleven individuals, primarily workers, are trapped beneath the debris. The precise cause of the building collapse remains unknown, prompting local authorities to launch a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
Excavation work continues as rescuers from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the State Fire Service quickly responded, working to free those trapped. Amidst the urgency, two people have been successful rescued and rushed to nearby hospitals for immediate care.
