A 17-year old named Ojibe Chibueze tragically ended his life. His sister, Cynthia, informed the police that he returned home from work, took some money, and left abruptly. Later, she received a call from his employer alleging theft. Shortly after, a neighbour called to report finding Ojibe lifeless at Abijo bus stop. Cynthia rushed to the scene, discovering him deceased, foaming at the mouth and nostrils with an empty insecticide bottle nearby, suggesting he consumed it before his passing.
The police responded to the scene and transported the body to the Epe General Hospital mortuary. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway.
